significant lief progress
come august(ish) i am going to be traveling around the US with my doggie. and some friends too for various parts, if we get our collective acts together. not sure where i’m starting yet (i live in new york, but may begin somewhere else) and will be journeying roughly south and roughly west, for an indefinite period of time. tentatively planning on spending the winter in the south (austin)....

did you figure out yr problem with random videos yet?
sort of! in processing, there’s a draw() function that refreshes at the framerate (around 30 times a second), so i had random() inside the draw() function, meaning it was making 30 random numbers a second, essentially calling a ton of clips at once.
